The Zahidjee Textile Mills story

Zahidjee Textile Mills was established in 1987 under the name Zahidjee Brothers. The founder of the company is its current chairman, Muhammad Zahid. For years, the company focused on manufacturing and exporting bleached, printed, and Grieg cloth. In 1993, the company was renamed Zahidjee Fabrics Limited. During this time, the company made its first major export. 

In 1996, the company made major expansions when it merged with Ihsan Yousaf Textile Mills Limited and was renamed Zahidjee Textile Mills Limited, adding more than 21,000 spindles to its manufacturing facilities. In 2003, the company added yet another 20,640 spindles to its manufacturing facilities, this time with 280 shuttleless looms to increase productivity. 

It wasn't only until 2006 that the company was publicly listed in the Karachi and Lahore Stock Exchanges. Fast forward to 2014, the company added yet another 25,000 spinning units to meet even more demands from the industry. Today, Zahidjee Textile Mills Limited is one of Pakistan's first choices in home textile products.
